Chugach Alaska Corporation is an Alaska Native Corporation committed to profitability, celebration of our heritage and ownership of our lands. Formed in 1972 under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act, we have been dedicated to advancing the people of the Chugach region through meaningful economic and cultural shareholder programs and benefits. That purpose has led us to create a balanced portfolio of businesses, investments and land development projects capable of creating prosperity for shareholders today and well into the future.
Our portfolio of companies span the globe in the government, energy and facilities services industries, with more than 5,000 employees across 150 locations and six countries.
Chugach owns Alaska-based companies that provide oilfield support services related to: drilling and workover operations for oil & gas operators and exploration companies; a modularized drilling and workover pulling unit; administrative, technical, and professional staffing support services; and oil spill response labor support.
