The Accounting Manager plays a pivotal role, driving the organization’s financial health and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This key position is perfect for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in public accounting, grant administration, and nonprofit financial management.
As the Accounting Manager, you’ll lead the charge in bringing financial management in-house, developing and implementing efficient systems and processes, and providing critical financial oversight to support the organization’s impactful mission.
Your day-to-day could include: System implementation and clean-up, financial management and reporting, grant administration, general accounting operations, audit and compliance, and leadership and collaboration.

You need:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a nonprofit setting
- Experience with grant administration
- Nonprofit accounting experience (strongly preferred.)
- Proficiency with QuickBooks or similar software
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- CPA strongly preferred
