$30 per hour+ DOE

Our client: A well-established boutique personal injury law firm, dedicated to delivering exceptional advocacy and compassionate service to its clients. They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join their team.

As a Legal Assistant, you’ll be at the center of daily operations. You’ll keep cases moving forward, ensure deadlines are met, and help clients feel supported through what can be a challenging process. You’ll manage case files, coordinate with courts and vendors, prepare attorneys for hearings and meetings, and maintain clear communication with clients.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a small-firm environment and enjoys working independently while still being part of a collaborative team. You’ll gain hands-on experience in litigation support, client interaction, and case management—with room to take on greater responsibilities as you grow.

This role is primarily in-office, and since their attorneys often work remotely, independence, organization, and strong initiative are key to success.

Your day-to-day:
In this role, you will be at the heart of the work of the firm's clients—helping attorneys stay organized, keeping cases moving forward, and ensuring their clients feel supported throughout the legal process.

No two days are alike: one moment you may be drafting and filing important legal documents or coordinating discovery, and the next you might be preparing attorneys for an upcoming hearing, deposition, or trial.

You’ll keep their busy calendars running smoothly, manage deadlines with precision, and act as a trusted point of contact for clients, court staff, opposing counsel, and providers, always representing the firm with professionalism and care. Inside the office, your role goes beyond paperwork and scheduling—you’ll be the steady presence that keeps files organized, communication flowing, and the office running seamlessly, even when attorneys are working remotely.

This is a role where initiative and independence are valued, where your attention to detail directly impacts client outcomes, and where your contributions truly make a difference. For someone who thrives on responsibility, enjoys balancing collaboration with autonomy, and takes pride in supporting both clients and colleagues, this position offers not just a job but the opportunity to play a meaningful role in the life of the firm and the clients served.

You need:
  • Prior experience as a legal assistant, paralegal, or legal secretary preferred (personal injury or litigation experience a plus).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent professional communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel, Word, and Outlook).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Reliability and professionalism: must arrive on time, follow firm procedures, take direction, and be willing to ask for clarification when needed.
  • Ability to ensure confidentiality and compliance with policies and procedures
  • Notary preferred, or willingness to obtain.
  • Professionalism in working with a wide range of people, from clients to court personnel.
